The theme for the October open house this year is up-cycle, restore and redesign.

I have acquired, collected, and been gifted a large variety of materials. Stones, beads, buttons, coins and cloisonné; modern, vintage, and antique. Older pieces, missing parts, orphan earrings, broken chains. Beautiful art that is no longer worn. This fall I have been breathing new life into these parts and pieces that hold the history and energy of families from around the world. I am acquiring less new material, and am up-cycling old.

I ’m taking such pleasure in sorting through these older pieces and renewing and redesigning them for a new generation.
