In addition to the workshop, you will be able to tour Casa Kira's Sonoran desert tortoise enclosure built in accordance with the Sonoran Desert Museum's specifications and planted with native edible tortoise food. Kira will be on hand to answer questions about Sonoran desert tortoise enclosures, how you can properly build one, plant edibles for the tortoise, and apply to adopt one of the many desert tortoises that need homes.
