Fall is here and Open House season begins! Once again Casa Kira is open, refreshed and reinvigorated. October in the desert is a time when creatures of all sorts poke their heads out to test the weather and see if fall is really here. I can verify that it is, having just come down from Mount Lemmon and collected evidence in the form of fresh leaves of all colors. Check out the photo below.
I look forward to welcoming you back to the studio on Saturday, October 25.
As always in October, I invite you to contribute to our community of ofrenda.
I'm also excited to introduce you to a special guest artist. Laurie Loux from Desert Perfect Skin will be joining us in the studio and sharing her natural skin care products with us. This is a lovely opportunity to sample the products, and have Laurie answer your questions and make the best recommendations for your skincare needs. The timing is perfect, because as we all rejoice in the cooling weather, it is also the time for me when my skin starts to suffer from the dryness. It's so lovely when I can source my skin care from a local organic source.
Here is a lovely photo of Christy wearing a one-of a-kind piece from the Catrina Collection. Find yours at the studio on the 25th!🙂
SERIOUS SKINCARE
At Desert Perfect Skin we are serious about dryness, dehydration and overall skin barrier function. Our products create healthy moisture and hydration levels that heal the hydro-lipid skin barrier AND seal in moisture and hydration with protective layer ingredients like shea butter, mango butter and beeswax.
We always, always avoid harsh treatments that disrupt the skin barrier function. That includes preservatives, acids, retinal, enzymes, emulsifers, fillers and harsh chemicals.
