( YES! We will have a craft table again! On the beautiful back porch of the Casa Kira studio, materials will be provided, or bring your own to make Valentine cards for all of your loves. This is an all ages activity, so bring your kiddos, your grandma, your brother etc. :)
This years VERY special guest artist is Jennifer Metzler, of Alll Things Good. She creates Handmade soaps for face, hands and body; gentle but cleansing, made from vegetable oils and other natural ingredients. (olive, coconut and sustainable palm oils, natural colorants and exfoliants, essential and fragrance oils) Jennifer is a master soap-maker here in Tucson and my family has been using her soaps for over a decade. She is a beautiful and loving person and that translates into her work and craft.

'Rosemary for Remembrance'- Rosemary Cookie Hearts- organic butter cookies rolled in local orange zested sugar and infused with homegrown rosemary. Not too sweet and just right. Pairs well with Gouda or Greek feta, red wine or a cup of tea or coffee.
'Rose for enchantment & Cardamom the Queen of Peace'- Cardamom Rose Amaretti’s- non gmo almond flour make these a gluten & dairy free delight. Organic cardamom spice and rose blended with a free range meringue create a marzipan like almond bite evoking the romance of rose transporting you to the ancient spice route of the East.
'Raspberry for Kindness'- Brown Butter Linzer Heart Cookies- the classic Austrian Linzer named after the city Linz this version has nutty brown butter adding an extra layer of richness. Quality raspberry jam sandwiched between brown butter cookies with orange extract and locally sourced orange zested infused organic flour make this an irresistible treat.
Chocolate Truffles with edible gold hearts- a luscious hand rolled blood orange ganache infused with organic cardamom. Stamped with a heart and painted with edible gold, these truffles make for a decadent, one of a kind gift.
Agave Pantry strives to bring you unique flavors that indulge your senses. Born and raised in the coastal city of Karachi, Pakistan to parents of Iranian origins, my heritage is a tapestry woven of the former sub-continent and Persia. I have spent my older years between East and West both cooking and baking, thus my cooking style, use of ingredients, and reverence for the handmade and handcrafted is influenced by both my upbringing and travels. This history of cross cultural experiences provides boundless inspiration to create desserts that have an element of surprise and evoke curiosity. I intentionally choose herbs and spices, such as cumin and cardamom, rose, orange blossom, saffron, lavender and rosemary, in combinations where the flavors creep up on you slowly, leaving you wondering at the mystery on your palate.

I enjoy going outside before the sun rises to observe the world waking up. Each Arizona sunrise is unique and always fills me with a sense of wonder and gratitude. Gardening is another thing I am passionate about. Many of my photographs are closeups of flowers.
My love of photography began when I was a young girl. I would wander around the area where I grew up, taking pictures with my Brownie and Instamatic cameras. At the first sign of spring I would be out taking pictures of everything green, from moss to the first leaves on the trees. This love grew into a passion.
